Anne-Marie Trevelyan, MP for Berwick-upon-Tweed, welcomed leaders from NHS Northumbria to Parliament today for a wide-ranging discussion on local healthcare provision, the importance of bespoke care for rural populations, and post-covid recovery.
After the meeting, Anne-Marie took the group on a tour of Parliament as part of a visit which had been postponed several times due to covid.
Speaking of the visit, Anne-Marie said: "I was thrilled to finally be able to host this delegation of leaders from our local NHS trust in Parliament. They are really leading the way in ensuring care meets local populations' needs, and it was so useful to me to be able to have this meeting, I hope they found it useful too."
