I am pleased to support Northumberland County Council's Shop Local, Shop Northumberland campaign, which seeks to highlight and showcase the incredible local businesses we have on our doorsteps in Northumberland.
It is fantastic to see the diversity and quality on show, and I look forward to continuing to support our local small businesses when I am out and about. A recent YouGov survey suggests that 64% of us are keen to shop locally where possible, and this campaign gives us more insights into the benefits of shopping local, and some great ideas for where to go to support our local economy and the jobs it sustains.
