This weekend, the Government has announced a £2 bus fare cap across England, saving passengers money on day-to-day journeys to help with cost of living pressures.
We know that local transport links form the transport spine of many communities across the country – but in the face of cost of living pressures we must help passengers keep costs down.
That is why we have announced a £2 bus fare cap across England – saving passengers more than £60 a month if they took 4 single trips a week, and 30 per cent on the average fare.
This £60 million package will help millions by saving on travel costs for work and essential journeys – easing the cost of living for passengers.
